In the year 2006, I staged UNIVERSITÉ D'ÉTÉ, play of Lionel Goldstein performed at the CHAILLOT THEATRE STUDIO.

To be self-assured before devoting myself to the direction of the actors, a complete new occupation for me, I decided to illustrate every single scene of the play. By integrating the characters in these images, I was drawing up my first intentions in directing and stage design.

 

3 years ago, these frontal, photo-realistic images, gave me the envy to go on and further explore the force of their dramaturgy. I asked one of the actors, Michel Musseau who did also the music and sound design of the play, to embody the central character of these new sets.
